Grand Finals
Wednesday Night Results - Grand Finals:
Blue Mountains Water Polo held their Grand Finals on Wednesday 31st March at Glenbrook Pool.  The night was cool, cloudy but did not rain.  The teams were there in full numbers prepared for a tight contest.  
The Junior match began with the Larrikins leading out with 3 goals in the first quarter from Sophie Fisher, Jake Cooper and Nathan Reid. Hugo Leighton scored in the second quarter for Stingers to get them on the board and Sam Fisher and Jake Cooper each scored a goal for the Larrikins.  The Stingers held the Larrikins out of the scoring end with much improved defence in the third quarter with only Jake scoring again. The last quarter was tight with great defence from the Stingers but many unsuccessful attempts at goals.  Hugo Leighton scored again as well as Sam Fisher and Nathan Reid.  Final score was Larrikins 8 defeating Stingers 2. 
Team Two 7 defeated a courageous but exhausted Team One 1 in the Seniors Grand Final match.  Ben Morgan was away at the Australian Country Championships and his team missed his expertise.  Team Two played a great match with goals scored by Chris Artini 3, Nathan Spriggs, Stuart Lane and Beth Salmon 2 with Daniel Sayer scoring one goal for the Team One. 
All Blue Mountain Water Polo players are invited to our end of year party and Presentation Night to be held at Springwood Golf club on Friday 23rd April at 7pm. 
Preliminary Finals
Wednesday Night Results - Preliminary Finals:
Blue Mountains Water Polo held the preliminary finals for the Wednesday night competition on 24th March at Glenbrook Pool.  Parents and grandparents in greater numbers were there to cheer on the young players.  
The Junior match was between Little Horrors and the Larrikins.  This game started with Larrikins looking strong and scoring two goals in the first quarter to Sam Fisher and Jake Cooper.  Little Horrors lifted markedly in the second quarter with  goals scored by Josh Watkins and Lachlan Weber and Jake scoring one for the Larrikins.  The match continued with many attempts but great saves by the respective goalies to have only one goal scored from each team by Ebony Frost and Breanna Prisuda.  The last quarter was very exciting and looked like a draw was likely but a late but great goal to Nathan Reid gave the match to Larrikins 5 to Little Horrors 4.
The Seniors match was hard fought but a convincing win overall to Team One led by our NSW Country representative player Ben Morgan.  He was practising some wonderful back shots in preparation for the Nationals to be held this coming week.  Team One 10 defeated Team Four 2.  Goals were scored by Ben Morgan 3, Troy Morgan 2, Justin Sayer 2, Daniel Sayer 2, Patrick Berrell and our other NSW Country representative Courtney Finlay.  We wish Courtney and Ben our best wishes for a successful competition.
Semi Finals

Wednesday Night Results - Semi Finals:
Blue Mountains Water Polo Wednesday night competition enjoyed a fine night for the Semi Finals on 17th March, 2010. Good close matches from all teams made it a great night. Congratulations all players for a wonderful improvement throught the season.  
Junior games results:  Little Horrors 13 produced a convincing win against Funky Monkeys 1.  Lots of great attempts from the Funky Monkeys but great goal keeping from Little Horrors denied a closer result.  Goals scored by Breanna Prisuda 2, Tahlia Weber 2, Josh Watkins, Zeke Prisuda, Lachlan Weber 3, Ryan Nichols 2, Matthew Wilson 2, Tahlia Tuckwell.  
Stingers 6 defeated Larrikins 1.  Goals scored by Ashley Fisher, Taryn Cooper, Sebastian Camilleri  and Bradley Camilleri 2.  
A great roll up of players for the Senior games saw Team One score 7 goals to defeat Team Three who scored 3.  Goals to Ben Morgan 4, Troy Morgan, Justin Sayer, Matt Heyhoe, Phill Golding and Kelly Millevoi.  
Team Two 9 defeated Team Four 6 in a great tussle.  Goals to Chris Artini 7, Beth Salmon 2, Brett Evans 3, Hugo Leighton and Courtney Finlay 2.
Round 14
 Wednesday Night Results - Round 14:
 Juniors results:  Stingers 6 defeated the usual depleted but determined Funky Monkeys 1.  Goals scored by Ashley Fisher, Madeline Birt, Taryn Cooper, Sebastian Camilleri 2, Hugo Leighton and Tahlia Tuckwell.
A tight, exciting match was played by Larrikins 7 defeating Little Horrors 6.  Goals to Jake Cooper 6, Nathan Reid, Breanna Prisuda, Tara Colyer, Madeline Wood, Zeke Prisuda, Lachlan Weber 2.
Senior Teams were seriously depleted again with a match being played by all who arrived by 8 pm.  Gaols scored by Chris Artini 5, Beth Salmon 2, Pat Berrell, Sean Crammond, Brett Evans 2, Danielle Doughty, Hugo Leighton and Larissa Evans.
Round 13
 Wednesday Night Results - Round 13:
Junior game results: Little Horrors 8 had a good win over a determined Stingers 2.  Goals scored by Breanna Prisuda 2, Tahlia Weber, Madeline Wood 2, Josh Watkins 2, Ryan Nichols, Taryn Cooper and Harry Cheeseman.
Larrikins 7 had a resounding victory over a depleted Funky Monkeys team 0.  Goals scored by Sophie Fisher 2, Sam Fisher, Lisa Wilcox 2, and Nathan Reid 2.  
Senior Results:  Team One 8 defeated Team Four 4.  Goals scored by Ben Morgan 3, Troy Morgan 4, Dani Heyhoe, Pat Berrell, Brett Evans, Hugo Leighton, Emily Healy.
Team Two  7 were leading in the first half but Teams Three  9 made a valiant recovery in the second half of the match to win.  Goals were scored by Matt Heyhoe 3, Brad Millevoi 2, Ray Salmon, Kelly Millevoi 2, Larissa Moore.
Round 12
 Wednesday Night Results - Round 12:
Junior game results: Funky Monkeys 4 defeated Little Horrors 0.  Goals scored by Tahlia Tuckwell 2 and Laura Hall 2. Stingers 4 defeated Larrikins 0 in the second match of the night also.  Goals scored by a much improved Hugo Leighton 4.
The Seniors first match was decided on the teams who all arrived at 8pm.  Team One 5 defeated Team Two 4.  Goals were scored by Ben Morgan 2, Aidan McCracken 2, Dani Heyhoe, Nathan Spriggs 2, Craig Spriggs, and Courtney Finlay.
Team Four won by forfeit from a depleted Team Three side.  Goals scored in the ensuing match by Keiran Maurer, Hugo Leighton 2, Harry Cheeseman, Larissa Evans, Phill Golding 2, Brad Millevoi, Justin Sayer 4, Brett Evans 2, Pat Richardson 2.
Round 11
 Wednesday Night Results - Round 11:
Junior game results: Larrikins 7 defeated Little Horrors 2.  Goals scored by Sophie Fisher, Sam Fisher, Jake Cooper 3, Nathan Reid, James Fisher - a fabulous long shot to the top right corner, and Lachlan Weber 2.
Stingers 3 defeated Funky Monkeys 2.  Goals scored by Taryn Cooper, Daniel Walton, Harry Cheeseman, Ben Artini, and Jackson Moss.
A repeat of the previous week's matches had some close results in the Senior competition.
Team Two 6 defeated Team Three 3.  Goals to Chris Artini 4, Beth Salmon, Connie Gorham, Phill Golding 2, Adam Morgan.
Team One 6 defeated Team Four 5 in a most exciting and well played game.  Goals to Ben Morgan 2, Jack Richardson 2, Daniel Sayer, Phoebe Donovan, Pat Berrell 3, Hugo Leighton, and Emily Healey showed quick thinking to push the ball back into the goal mouth to score.

Round 10

 Wednesday Night Results - Round 10:
Junior game results:  Stinger 4 defeated Little Horrors 0.  Goals were scored by Harry Cheeseman 4.  Well done Harry.
The second match of the night was a very exciting tussle with Larrikins 4 having to save the match after Funky Monkeys scored three goals in quick succession in the second half.  Great saving goal from Jake Cooper was thrown in the dying moments of the game to much applause from the spectators. Goals scored by Jake Cooper 3, James Fisher, Victoria Hart, Ben Artini 2. 
The senior matches began with Team Two 5 defeated Team Three 4.  Goals scored byChris Artini 3, Nathan Spriggs 2, Brad Millevoi 2, Emily Gorham.
Team Four defeated Team One by Forfeit with a training game played.  Goals scored by Sean Crammond, Hugo Leighton, Ben Morgan 3 Emily Gorham, Jarryd Boyd 2, Pat Richardson 3
Round 9
Wednesday Night Results - Round 9:
Juniors:  Larrikins 5 defeated Stingers 4.  Goals scored by Milly Rivory, Brittany Birt, Daniel Walton, Hugo Leighton, Jake Cooper, Nathan Reid, Sam, Ebony and Daniel Fisher.
Little Horrors 11 defeated a very depleted Funky Monkeys 3.  Goals scored by Amanda Fowler 2, Breanna Prisuda 2, Tahlia Weber, Madeline Wood, Josh Watkins 3, Lachlan Weber, Mathew Wilson, Victoria Hart, Laura Hall  
Senior games attracted more players this week with Team Four 10 defeating Team Three 6.  Goals scored by Pat Berrell 4, Brett Evans, Courtney Finlay 3, Danielle Doughty 2, Matt Heyhoe 2, Phill Golding, Ray Salmon, Emily Gorham and Larissa Moore.
Team One 6 defeated Team Two 5.  Goals scored by Ben Morgan 2, Troy Morgan, Aiden McCracken, Daniel Sayer 2, Chris Artini 2, Nathan Spriggs 2, Beth Salmon
Round 8
Wednesday Night Results - Round 8:
The second half of our season started on Wednesday night 27th January, 2010 with a pre match thunderstorm but games went ahead on schedule.
Junior matches:  Stingers 3 had to work hard to defeat Funky Monkeys 2.  Goals scored by Jackson Moss, new player Laura Hall, Ashley Fisher, Sebastian Camilleri, and Harry Cheeseman.
Larrikins defeated Little Horrors by forfeit but a good practice game went ahead.  Goals scored by: Ebony Frost, Sam Fisher 2, Jake Cooper 2, Nathan Reid 2, Ben Artini 2 and Zeke Prisuda.
Senior matches were all lacking in numbers and some practice games were played by those enthusiasts who attended.  Goals scored by Stuart Lane 3, Ray Salmon, Beth Salmon, Connie Gorham, Sean Crammond,  and Emily Healey.
Round 7
Wednesday Night Results - Round 7:
Junior matches:  Stingers 6 defeated Little Horrors 4.  Goals scored by Madeline Birt, Taryn Cooper, Brad Camilleri, Sebastian Camilleri, Amanda Fowler 2, Zeke Prisuda, Ryan Nichols.
Larrikins 11 defeated Funky Monkeys 2.  Goals scored by Ebony Frost 2, Sophie Fisher, Sam Fisher 3, Jake Cooper 4, Daniel Fisher, Tahlia Tuckwell, Jackson Moss.
Senior matches:  Team Three 7  defeated Team Two 5.  Goals to Chris Artini 2, Stuart Lane, Beth Salmon 2, Kelly Millevoi, Jake Burton 4.
Team Four won by forfeit to Team One.  Fun game played with goals scored by:  Pat Berrell 3, Brett Evans, Courtney Findlay, Justin Sayer, Aiden McCracken, Jack Richardson2, Daniel Sayer 2
Round 6

Wednesday Night Results - Round 6:
Junior Games:  Little Horrors 8 defeated Funky Monkeys 3.  Goals to Amanda Fowler 3, Tahlia Weber, Lachlan Weber 3, Ryan Nichols, Alexandra Bateman 2, Ben Artini,
Larrikins 6 defeated Stingers 3.  Goals to Sophie Fisher, Sam Fisher 2, Jake Cooper 2, James Fisher, Taryn Cooper, Hugo Leighton 2.
Senior Games:  Team Two 7 defeated Team One 5.  Goals scored by:  Chris Artini 3, Nathan Spriggs 2, Beth Salmon, Emma Smith, Keiran Maurer, Jack Richardson and Daniel Sayer 2.  Great to see a Richardson in goals for both teams!!
Team Three 9 defeated Team Four 3.  Goals scored by:  Matt Heyhoe 4, Phill Golding 2, Brad Millevoi 2, Emily Gorham, Harry Cheeseman, Courtney Finlay and Emily Healey.
Round 5

Wednesday Night Results - Round 5:
Junior Games:  Larrikins 5 defeated Little Horrors 1.  Goals to Ebony Frost, Sam Fisher 2, Jake Cooper 2 and new player Ryan Nichols!
Stingers 5 defeated Funky Monkeys 1.  Goals to Ashley Fisher, Brad Camilleri, Daniel Walton, Hugo Leighton 2, Alexandra Bateman.
Many thanks to our faithful referees who include: Ben Morgan, Ray Salmon, Matt Heyhoe and Vicky Gorham without whom our matches could not be held.
The Senior competition is now proceeding in a 4 team format.  Team Two 6 defeated Team Three 2 with goals scored by Chris Artini 3, Beth Salmon, Emma Smith, Connie Gorham, Jarryd Boyd, Larissa Moore.
Team One and Team Four had a draw.
Round 4

Wednesday Night Results - Round 4:
It's great to see so many new players to our junior ranks, hopefully their committment will carry over and we will see alot of our junior players going onto play in our girls/ladies Sunday Metro Comp and the boys following into the boys/mens Tuesday Metro Comp, with the chance to represent Blue Mountains Water Polo at various State and Country Championships.

Round 3

 Wednesday Night Results - Round 3:
Wednesday night at Glenbrook Pool was a great night for water polo.  Warm weather, lots of enthusiastic players and onlookers cheering enthusiastically.
Junior Games results:  Stingers 4 defeated Larrikins 3.  Goals scored by Brad Camilleri 2, Hugo Leighton 2, Jake Cooper 3.
Little Horrors (Team 3) 9 defeated a depleted Funky Monkeys 1.  Goals scored by Amanda Fowler 2, Madeline Wood, Josh Watkins 4, Lachlan Weber 2, Jackson Moss.
Games were created on the night and goals were scored by Brad 2, Kelly, Ben, Jarryd, Beth Courtney 2,  and  Clancy in one match.  Brad, Chris 2, Keiran, Kristy 2 Pat 2, Pat Richardson 3, Kelly, Brett 2, Beth 2, Connie and Stuart scored goals in the other match.
Senior A & B grades are going to be blended to make four teams which should make for some more exciting competiton.  Please arrive around 7.30 pm on Wednesday 25th November and meet other team members before the games commence.
Round 2

Wednesday Night Results - Round 2:
Wednesday night 11th November was a beautiful night at the pool. 
Stingers 5 played well and defeated Funky Monkeys 2 with goals being scored by Ashley Fisher, Brad Camilleri 2, Daniel Walton, Hugo Leighton, Alexandria Bateman, Jackson Moss.
Larrikins 6 played a hard match and were defeated by Emily's mob 7.  Goals were scored by Breanna Prisuda, Madeline Wood, Christian Brown, and 4 goals to Lachlan Weber...well done.
Senior B players had a lot of help from some juniors and a ring in or two.  Numbers are down a lot from last season but plenty of fun still for those keen to play. Goals scored by Matt Heyhoe 2, Kelly Millevoi 2, Phill Golding, Jarryd Boyd 2 and Lariss Moore 2.
Senior A enjoyed a longer match and some of our newer players are looking better all ready.  Goals scored by Aidan McCracken, Emily Gorham 3, Beth Salmon, Emma Smith, Chris Artini, Brett Evans 2, Larissa Evans 2, Patrick Berrell 6 and Brad Millevoi recovering from a broken arm.
Round 1

Wednesday Night Results - Round 1:
Blue Mountains Wednesday night water polo has got off to a good start with competition now underway.  The results of the first competition night are: Stingers 7 defeated Emily's Mob 5.  Goals scored by Ashley Fisher 2, Madeline Birt, Taryn Cooper, Brad Camilleri 3, Breanna Prisuda 2, Madeline Wood 2, Lachlan Weber.
Larrikins 4 defeated Funky Monkeys 2.  Goals scored by Sophie Lucic-Fisher, Nathan Reid, James Fisher, Matthew Wilcox, Ben Artini and Brenton Moore.
Senior B  had an energetic and tight fought match with goals scored by Dani, Stuart, Pat, Emily, Connie, Clancy, Aiden, Brad, and Kelly.
Senior A enjoyed a little longer match and this will continue from now on.  Goals scored by Emily Healey, Chris Artini 3, Nathan Spriggs 2, Brett Evans, Matt Heyhoe, Brad Millevoi, Beth Salmon 2 and Pat Richardson 2
