Wednesday Night Competition Information

Wednesday night is up and running! Team lists and the competition draw are on the website, so please have a look to see what team you are in and when your games are scheduled.

Flipperball: Flipperball is being run in the shallow end on a weekly basis from approximately 6:45-7:45pm.

If you have kids that are keen to learn how to play the game, but dont have the confidence of jumping straight into games in the deep end, then this is the perfect solution! In flipperball the kids learn basic water polo skills like; catching, passing & shooting. Flipperball kids will also have the opportunity to play a game in the deep end every 2-4 weeks, which will help build their confidence and continue their development in the game!

Remember: Volunteers are required on Wednesday Nights to ensure we can continue to run the competition successfully & efficiently, so please advise if you or someone in your family can help out throughout the season. Various tasks are required to be filled such as, running the BBQ, table duty, refereeing, coaching, setting up and packing up the pool and any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Every Wednesday night is a BBQ night! No need for you to organise the kids dinner, just grab a sausage sandwich and leave the cleaning up to us!!

$2.50 per sandwich is a cheap dinner!

WINTER COMP 2011

Gold for Blueys U16 Ladies

On Sunday the 28th of August, Blueys Under 16 Ladies played Cronulla in Winter Competition under 16 Grand Final. The game was very tight, with the teams going goal fo goal throughout the game. Blueys managed to hit the lead mid-way through the final quarter and with superb defending (against a couple of period of extra man), were able to hold on to victory against a very good Cronulla side. It was truely a great team effort with all players contributing to the 7 - 6 win. Goal scorers were: Breanna Prisuda 2, Carla Sargent 2, Sophie Lucic- Fisher, Ebony Frost and Tahlia Tuckwell. A Big Thank You to coach Courtney Vreeken for all her work with the girls this season.....they would not have been there without her. And special thanks to Eddie for refereeing & assistance during the year.
